The wrath of grief. (98 words)


The shutters beat against the wall in a temper tantrum, busted like broken butterfly wings. Denial was passing, and the storm front of anger would bear down upon that small English village, like a Valkyrie riding upon those tempestuous gales seeking vengeance.

 

 

It was ironic. After years of being patient with him, Olivia had tried to help him express his emotions. In his grief, Sebastian unleashed his emotions with fury. Newly bereft of his wife, the widower's magic brought forth the storm: Wrath made manifest.

 

 

Like the hand of God, his love for her swept the village away.
