Elise Betz is an author of novels, short stories and flash fiction. She initially got the writing bug when after reading enough fanfic, she was inspired to start creating her own stories. Elise Betz is a wife, mother, and former public relations hack who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, but grew up in L.A. In her previous work, she worked in the food industry (studio catering and wholesale food production), so food is usually included somewhere in her writings. While initially nurtured on sci-fi in her youth, especially the original Star Trek, Star Wars, the original Battlestar Gallactica, Space: 1999, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and her father's extensive sci-fi book collection, she has started leaning more towards romance and fantasy in her adult years. But she always has room in her heart for all three, especially if it includes vampires.
